Biography

Luke Rivers, a resident of Leeds UK, developed his passion for photography and videography at a young age, learning the ins and outs of old polaroid and video cameras from his parents. Growing up in The Wirral, he embraced the technology of the early 2000s, renting movies, watching music videos on MTV, and immersing himself in various creative mediums.

With a vivid imagination and a love for storytelling, Rivers explored the realms of music, films, audio, illustration, and animation, all while dabbling in his own artistic endeavours. Despite the challenges posed by ADHD, he used it as fuel for his creative pursuits, constantly pushing boundaries and seeking new possibilities.

His journey led him to Leeds Beckett University, where he continued to hone his skills in photography and filmmaking. Graduating with a degree in Graphic Arts & Design and an MA Merit in Documentary Film Making, Rivers had the opportunity to collaborate with established artists such as street artist JAKe Detonator and Noel Fielding.

Throughout his artistic journey, Rivers also developed a deep appreciation for the natural world and travel, drawing inspiration from the works of past and present artists, travelers, and poets.

Today, Luke Rivers continues to expand his artistic horizons, collaborating with talented individuals like London School of Art graduate Emily Tabet, as his diverse art department continues to grow.
